At Ruckus it is really important to us to not only use our platfrom to create space for disenfranchised and marginalised groups, but to also donate to important causes outside of the world of theatre.

In light of the ongoing racism and brutality against Black people in the UK and globally, as brought to the forefront once again after the death of George Floyd at the hands of police in America, we also pledged 10% of our profits from Romeo and Juliet to Black Lives Matter. We are so grateful to everyone who bought a ticket as it meant we were able to donate over £100 to the vital charity.

This year, we are aiming to go even further to raise money for charity and we will also be launching our new outreach programme, Ruckus+, which we hope will shed light on accessibility within the industry and help us hold ourselves and our fellow creatives to a higher standard of inclusivity.
